Let’s cook “SHELL OUT” at home

Well, since I am broke enough to go to Shell Out Restaurant, (it quite pricy but worth it though) Im trying my best to find the recipe so I can cook at home, Im ready to dive under the sea just to get the recipe huh joking. (This lame metaphor always get into my mind)

The prepration to cook this sea food might take some time but IT WORTH THE WAITTTTTT!!!!


The best moment in my life was when my mum gave me A compliment though 😭 she never did that before. That is why I want to share the recipe hehe


Pre - Production


Main Ingredients (Agent 011):

4 crabs - cut into half

20 prawns

8 squids - cut into 4/6 slices


Part A

Ingredients that should be blended:

20 dried chillies - remove the seed and soak til it soft (you can choose how much chillies you want to put in your own recipe hehe)

2 onions

15 Shallots

2 garlic pumpkin

1 inch of ginger

1 inch of belacan (optional)

1/2 cup dried shrimp


Part B

Ingredient to stir-fry:

6 cloves garlic - sliced

6 cloves shallot - sliced

1 inch of ginger - sliced

5 stalks curry leaves

10 chillies - sliced

2 lemon grass

Oil

1/2 butter / margerine


Part C

Seasoning:

3 spoon curry powder

3 spoon oyster sauce

3 spoon fish sauce (optional)

1 tea spoon black pepper

1 cube chicken stock

Sugar and Salt


Part D

To boil:

Corn - cut into 3 pieces

Broccoli - cut to small pieces

Potato - you can cut any size you want

Carot - same to go with Potato



Production


Blend all Part A all together.


Boil all ingredients in Part D for 20 minutes (medium large gas level) dont forget to add Salt while boiling!


Heat the oil and margerine together. Then, put garlic, ginger and shallot first. When the smell come out, you can add the rest of Part B. Stir them all around 10 minutes.


Stir, and stir and stir....


It’s time for you to put the seasoning!!! Yay, seem like we almost done? Huhu maybe?


After 10 minutes of stirring, now you guys can add all Part C ingredients ya? Maybe you guys should add a cup of water since these ingredients would be so sticky. But! Dont bother to add any plain water, just use the boiled water used for soften Part D.


When all the ingredient well-stirred. You can add Part D and Main Ingredient Agent 011 to the pan. Keep stirring for 20minutes to make sure all the ingredients salute the most precious Agent 011.



Post - Production


Eat.

Hehe.
